Welcome to Unique Felts

Felt is the oldest form of fabric produced, pre-dating knitting and weaving, it is produced by rubbing and pressing fleece fibres so that they mat together. The resulting felt is a lovely soft and natural cloth that is also strong, with natural water resistant properties.

I hand make all my own products, and all the felt that I make is from assorted breeds of British sheep producing different types of fleece, giving varied results.

Every piece I make is unique; due to the nature of felt making its almost impossible to produce an exact copy, and I like to think that every piece is a work of art.

I am currently making decorative felt table runners and complete cushions, please look at the products page for details of items for sell.

I can also produce items on a commission basis if a specific design and/or colours are required, please email me to discuss this.

Please Note: Felt is not a washable product, it is naturally water resistant; washing will result in the item shrinking (the same effect as shrinking a wool jumper); any spills should be removed with a damp cloth.
